A folder containing 8 printed postcards showing new ships of the NYK Line. All the ships date from around 1930, so I assume the cards were printed at that time. All the cards have good sharp corners but some light surface foxing spotting to the front which is generally only visible when viewed across the light. To the reverse the cards have a little black marking which corresponds to the printing on the front of the previous card. (Presumably the cards were stacked when the ink was not fully dry!). The paper folder is a little battered, but at least it has protected the cards. Generally (VG). |
