She was built in 1899 and was wrecked on 9th March 1921 whilst on a voyage from Genoa to Portland. She was subsequently broken up at Portland in 1923. Light corner and edge wear. Waterman 842404 Waterman Rotterdam Lloyd A company photo postcard featuring the Waterman. She was built in 1945 as the cargo ship La Grande Victory. In 1947 she became the Waterman and served as an emigrant ship for the Dutch Government. This photo shows her in her rebuilt form after she was rebuilt with extra passenger accommodation in 1951 and operated by Rotterdam Lloyd. Weeroona, Ozone, Hygeia 1134602 Weeroona, Ozone, Hygeia Bay Excursion Steamers, Melbourne A lovely art postcard featuring three paddle steamers from the Bay Excursion Steamers company of Melbourne, Australia. They are the Weeroona which served the company from 1912 to 1951. The Ozone which was in service for the company from 1918 to 1925 and the Hygeia which served the company from 1918 to 1931. Therefore I assume the image depicts a scene from the 1920's. Card is by B.R. Gowan. Very light corner and edge wear with a light bend down the left edge of the card with corresponding surface crinkle. Extremely light album corner impressions / marks. Otherwise extremely light marking to the front. Extremely light marking to the reverse with a small foxing spot on the right edge. (VG) SOLD!
