Astor 1215101 Astor Marlan Corporation A company photo postcard featuring the cruise ship Astor. She was built in 1987 for the Marlan Corporation of Mauritius, but only stayed with them for a short time, being sold to the Black Sea Shipping Company, USSR, and renamed Fedor Dostoevskiy in 1988. This card was used during that short period in June 1988 with several scarce Marlan Corporation cachets to the reverse and a postal cancellation (though not posted) from Nordkapp. Light corner and edge wear. Light impression from the postal cancellation top left with a couple of very light surface crinkles. Otherwise minimal marking to the front. Very light marking to the reverse. A little corner wear with bumps to the two right corners. A large number of surface creases / crinkles to the card mainly on the right half of the card and top left.
