Plassy 1319301 Plassy P&O A Sanbride sepia printed postcard by W.E. Axten of Southampton, featuring the P&O liner Plassy. Very light corner and edge wear. An extremely light surface crinkle from the centre of the left edge in to the stern of the ship. A little light marking to the front with some foxing dotting in the sky areas above the bridge of the vessel and around the funnel. Light marking, age toning and some foxing dotting to the reverse. Poland (HMT) 1326601 Poland (HMT) Atlantic Transport Line A matt finish photo postcard featuring the troopship HMT Poland. She was built in 1898 as the Victoria for Leyland Line. Later that same year she became the Manitou for the Atlantic Transport Line. From 1920 to 1925 she served as the troopship Poland for managed by the Atlantic Transport Line. Extremely light corner wear. Extremely light marking to the front - but several spots and white marks which are in the printing of the photo. The reverse is printed upside down and has extremely light marking. (VG+) £5.99

Principe de Viana 1332304 Principe de Viana Hijos de Jose Taya S. En C., Barcelona A Spanish photo postcard featuring the Principe de Viana. She was built in 1899 as the Tagus for the Royal Mail Steam Packet Co. She became the Principe de Viana in 1920 and was broken up in Genoa in 1925. Light corner and edge wear. An extremely light surface impression line with extremely light surface crack in the gloss coating from the top of the right edge down to the ship's hull amidships. Tintore 1332303 Tintore Linea de Vapores Tintore, Barcelona An early and scarce advertising postcard from Linea de Vapores Tintore, featuring their vessel Tintore. She was built in 1869 as the Roquelle for the British & African Steam Nav Co. In 1882 she became the Tintore. The line was taken over by Cia Trasmediterranea in 1917. She was broken up in 1936 at Barcelona. Card is postally used in Almeria in 1912. Some corner rounding and edge wear. A small dink to the bottom right corner tip. Very light album corner impressions. Tripolitania 1317701 Tripolitania Luigi Pittaluga, Genoa A sepia toned photo postcard by Gibson & Sons, featuring the wreck of the Tripolitania. She was wrecked on Loe Bar, Porthleven on 26th December 1912, whilst on a voyage from Genoa to Barry. She was built in 1897 as the Drumgarth, becoming the Lord Cromer in 1907 and Tripolitania in 1911. She was broken up en-situ following failed attempts to salvage her. Very light corner and edge wear and light album corner impressions. Extremely light marking to the front but with some sepia toning and light silvering of the photo. The card is titled "En route to the Hook of Holland". the sender of the card has changed the title to "from" the Hook of Holland. Postally used in 1904 at Harwich. Sadly a heavy crease across the bottom left corner, which is however not very noticable from the front of the card. Very light corner and edge wear. She was refurbished in 1910 when her two funnels were replaced with a single funnel. In 1923 she transferred to LNER ownership. She continued in service until 1937. This postcard looks like a later reprint of an early photograph - I believe the original photo was published in 1895 by the Edinburgh Photographic Society. the photo is rather grainy and a little blurred.
