Extremely light corner wear and clean to the front except for and "X" impression mark in the top left and bottom right corner tips (maybe to do with album mounting?). 796701 | Nab Light Tower | Unknown | An unusual sepia art card with art by Montague B. Black showing the towing out of the Nab Light Tower from Shoreham in 1920. Published by Green & Co of Hayling Island. The tower was built during World War 1 as a defensive tower designed by Guy Maunsell to be placed in the English Channel. This never came to fruition and the completed tower was towed in 1920 to the Nab Rocks at the entrance to the Solent and placed there as a navigational tower where it remains to this day.
