USAT Thomas 6313130 USAT Thomas United States Government A colour printed postcard featuring the US Army Tramsport ship Thomas in Manila Harbour, Philippines. She was built in 1894 for Hamburg Amerika as the Persia, before becoming the Minnewaska for a short time in 1898 for the Atlantic Transport Line. Later the same year she passed to the US Army and became the USAT Thomas, being broken up under that name in 1929. Clean to the front with light corner and edge wear. USS Leviathan 6543211 USS Leviathan United States Government A photo postcard featuring the USS Leviathan in her wartime dazzle camouflage. Built as the Vaterland for Hamburg Amerika, whe was laid up at Hoboken when WW1 broke out. In 1917 she was seized by the US Government and served as USS Leviathan. She was painted in dazzle camouflage in early 1918 and retained that until being painted grey in December 1918. Light corner and edge wear with light knocks to the top right and bottom right corners.
