1245003 | Porthcawl | A photo postcard by Nobbs of Great Yarmouth, featuring the steamer Porthcawl. She was built in 1923 and served Wilson & Harrison from 1932 to 1933. On 14th Sept 1933, she had a fire 2 miles off Haisboro and was beached at Caister. She was a total loss and broken up at Sunderland. Minimal corner and edge wear and minimal surface marking to the front. Sadly two areas of light glue residue in the centre of the card to the reverse. Pencilled annotations, otherwise very light marking. (VG/G) | SOLD! |
