HMS Royal Daffodil IV 1250701 HMS Royal Daffodil IV A sepia printed postcard featuring a photo of HMS Daffodil IV returning to the Mersey after the raid on Zeebrugge in 1918. She was built as the ferry Daffodil for Wallasey Corporation in 1906. She was requisitioned in 1918 for use in the raid on Zeebrugge. She returned to the Mersey on 17th May 1918. She became the Royal Daffodil in 1919. Card is by R.&H. Robbins of Liverpool. A little light corner and edge wear with a tiny surface crinkle on the top right corner tip. Very light surface marking to the front. A small area of surface missing to the reverse on the top edge, centre. Some foxing spotting to the reverse. (VG/VG-) SOLD!
