Aleppo 1261112 Aleppo A sepia toned and slightly faded photo postcard by M. Barnard of Hull, featuring the Aleppo of 1900. She became the Apollo for Italian owners in 1929. A little corner and edge wear. Note that the white line in the top right corner is in the original photo printing and not a crease. A couple of light surface impressions to the front, otherwise very light marking. Small inked annotation to the reverse, otherwise a little marking / ageing. (VG-) SOLD!
Calypso 1261108 Calypso An early, sepia toned and lightly faded photo postcard featuring the Calypso of 1904. She was sunk by submarine off Norway in 1916. Inked note to the front dated 1904 referring to the new ship in the Wilson fleet. Postally used in 1904 in Hessle. Light corner and edge wear with album corner marks / impressions. A very light surface bend bottom left corner and a light bend / surface crinkle on the right edge near the bow of the vessel up to the top edge. A little light surface marking and a little light silvering of the photo. Light marking / ageing to the reverse with some light foxing marks. (VG-) SOLD!

Very light marking to the front with a small pink mark above the bridge of the vessel in the sky area. A few very light surface foxing spots, only visible when viewed across the light. Tokio 1249007 Tokio A sepia printed postcard from the Boots Pelham Series, featuring a view of Alexandra Dock, Hull. The vessel to the right of the photo is the Tokio. She was built in 1895 for T.Wilson & Sons (Wilson Line). In 1911 she became the Polynesia for the Antarctic Whaling Company of Norway. Extremely light corner wear and extremely light marking to the front and reverse. (EX-) SOLD!
