596116 | Smeaton | A photo postcard featuring the tender / passenger vessel Smeaton. She was built in 1883 at Preston for the GWR in Plymouth. In 1930 she was sold to McCalla of Belfast. In 1941 she was sold to the Ulster Steam Tender Co also of Belfast. Very light corner and edge wear. Very light album corner impressions. Extremely light marking to the front. Pencilled ship name to the reverse, otherwise some age toning, mainly around the edges of the card. (VG) | £5.49 |
