1036720 | Chisso Maru No.2 | An art postcard by the ship builders Hitachi Zosen, Kanagawa, featuring the coastal tanker Chisso Maru No.2 and commemorating her launch on 26th October 1964. She became the Shinko Maru in 1972. Art is by Mogami(?). Extremely light marking to the front with extremely light corner wear and very light album corner marks. the right edge is slightly uneven where the card was detached from a booklet or similar. Clean to the reverse except for two pieces of tape on the left edge (possibly how the postcard was originally mounted in the commemorative launch booklet??). Ship name lightly pencilled to the reverse. Size approx 5.75" x 3.7". (VG+/VG-) | SOLD! |
