Don 6194104 Don A scarce early colour postcard featuring the Russian Auxiliary Cruiser Don. She was originally Hamburg Amerika's Furst Bismarck of 1890. Sold to the Russian Navy she became the Don in 1904 and then the Moskva in 1906. A little corner and edge wear and a light marking along the left edge near the top left corner. Otherwise light marking to the front. A little marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG-) SOLD!
Jermak (Yermak) 938306 Jermak (Yermak) A sepia printed postcard featuring the Russian ice breaker Jermak (sometimes referred to as Yermak) ar Reval (modern day Tallinn, Estonia). She was built in Low Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne in 1899 for the Russian Navy. Card was posted at Reval (Tallinn) in 1911. Sadly with the postage stamp removed. A little corner rounding and edge wear. A light crease / surface crinkle at the top right corner and down the right side. A little marking / ageing to the front. Some marking / ageing to the reverse with the postage stamp removed. (G) SOLD!
