An early, undivided back, printed postcard by J. C. Poppinga, Leer, featuring the paddle steamer Victoria at Leer. She was built for the company in 1891 at Stettin. Postally used in 1900 at Borkum. Very light corner and edge wear. Surface impressions from postal cancellations top left and bottom right. Some foxing marking to the front otherwise light marking. Quite extensive foxing marking to the reverse. (G+)
A very early undivided back printed postcard featuring the paddle steamer Victoria with a view of Borkum. The Victoria was built in 1891 and sunk in Le Havre in 1944. Postcard was postally used in 1901. Some corner and edge wear and a light surface crinkle across the top right corner tip. Some marking and age tanning to the front and impression from postal cancellation top left. Age tanning and marking to the reverse. (G)
