A scarce photo postcard by Rotary featuring the Terra Nova with a vignette of Captain Scott. Terra Nova was built as a sealer and whaler in 1885 and acquired by Scott for his expedition to the South Pole in 1910. In 1913 following Scott's ill fated expedition she reverted to use as a sealer for Bowrings. Clean to the front with minimal corner and edge wear. Album corner indentations. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG)
