Beltana 795003 Beltana A photo postcard featuring the Beltana with Lund's funnel colours. Some corner and edge wear and a surface indentation line along the top edge from the right corner to the centre. Surface impression line on the top edge left and a surface kink / bend in the centre, just above the ship's funnel. Light surface marking. A little marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG-) SOLD!
Commonwealth 1062901 Commonwealth A scarce Lund's Blue anchor Line company colour printed advertising postcard featuring the Commonwealth leaving Sydney, with an overprint for the P&O Branch Service following their takeover. A pencilled message to the reverse from someone on board who has also marked their cabin on the front with an "X" (just under the bridge) and also drawn a pencilled line on the hull near the stern of the vessel. A little corner and edge wear with a tiny crinkle to the bottom right corner tip and a light surface bend across the bottom right, with associated surface crinkle to the reverse only. Other than the pencilled annotations, light marking to the front. Some marking / age toning to the reverse. (VG-) SOLD!
Geelong 936501 Geelong A Kingsway Real Photo postcard featuring the Geelong, still with Lund's funnel colours. Postally used in London 1912, by someone who sailed for Australia. A little light corner and edge wear. Light album corner indentations. A few light surface indentations from the inked notes to the reverse. Very light surface marking to the front. Postally used to the reverse, but also with some inked details about the vessel. Otherwise light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG) SOLD!
