Mongolia 654338 Mongolia An early, undivided back, printed postcard featuring the Mongolia. Postally used in Honolulu in 1905 by a passenger, with a Packet Boat cancellation. Inked message to the front. A little corner and edge wear, mainly on the top two corners. Clean to the front. A very light bend / surface crinkle bottom centre, in the middle of the inked message. Very light marking to the reverse. (VG) £10.99
Mongolia 1217703 Mongolia A colour tinted postcard from Japan, featuring a view of the Mongolia of 1904, with art by Fred Pansing. She passed to the Atlantic Transport Line in 1915/1916. Extremely light corner wear. Clean to the front with a little light fading on the left and right edges. Very light marking to the reverse with a couple of very light foxing marks. (VG) SOLD!
Mongolia / Manchuria 1140825 Mongolia / Manchuria A colour printed postcard from K.P.C. Yokohama, Japan, featuring a view of the Mongolia of 1904 (name on the bow) with art by Fred Pansing. Her sistership was Manchuria and that name has been stamped to the front, bottom centre. Both ships passed to the Atlantic Transport Line in 1915/1916. Very light marking / ageing to the front. Very light corner and edge wear. The reverse has several light surface crinkles which, strangely, do not seem to coincide with any bends or impressions on the card - perhaps they are as a result of the printing process?? Otherwise very light marking to the reverse with a couple of very light foxing dots. (VG/VG-) £7.99
Siberia 1216101 Siberia An undivided back colour printed postcard featuring the Siberia with company houseflag. She was built in 1902 and served the company until 1916. Very light corner wear with a tiny surface crinkle to the top right corner tip. Minimal marking to the front. The background grey colour is uneven to the bottom third of the card, but I think the card was produced like this (I have seen the same colouring on other copies of this card). Very light age toning to the reverse with lighter age toning at the corners. (VG) SOLD!
