A photo postcard featuring the cargo ship Olaus Olsson of 1903 at Dover. She had collided with the Southern breakwater at Dover on 20th October 1906 and was beached to stop her sinking. She was subsequently repaired and sold in 1907 to become the Ninian Paton. She was an unlucky ship as she was lost in December 1907 whilst on a voyage from Antwerp to Stockholm. Very light corner and edge wear with a tiny bend to the bottom left corner tip. Extremely light marking to the front. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse with neatly pencilled notes and a couple of light foxing marks. (VG)
