A sepia toned photo postcard featuring the barque Procyon of 1892, possibly in the River Avon(?). She was built for Croudace of Dundee in 1892. She passed to John Wilson of Dundee in 1895. In 1910 she passed to Finnish owners J. A. Zacharlassen. In clean condition to the front with very light corner wear. Inked reference number to the reverse and a little light marking / ageing. (VG)
A printed advertising postcard by Brookes Ltd, a stone merchant, featuring the steamer Saint Stephen loading granite at Ystehede, Idefjord for South America. The vessel was built in 1911 for the British & Foreign SS Co., later passing to Saint Line and finally to J. A. Zachariassen in 1923. In clean condition to the front with very light corner wear and a tiny mark to the top left corner tip. Extensive foxing marks to the reverse with light ageing. (VG)
