Fearless 1214501 Fearless An early sepia toned photo postcard featuring the wreck of the Fearless at Egremont with her back broken. She was built in 1878 as the Dotterel for the Cork Steamship Co. She became the Fearless in 1903. She was wrecked following a collision with the vessel Patricia off Egremont whilst leaving the Mersey on 6th February 1906. The following day she broke her back and was lost. Card is from the Eclipse Series by Arthur Shaw of Seacombe. Light corner and edge wear. Album corner impressions and a few light surface indentations to the front. Light marking to the front with a little surface silvering of the photo. Light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG-) SOLD!
Harmonides 1010508 Harmonides A photo postcard, probably by Feilden of Liverpool, but not marked as such, featuring the Harmonides. In clean condition to the front with extremely light corner wear. Very light album corner indentations. Clean to the reverse with neatly pencilled notes. (VG+) £5.99
Hesperia 905507 Hesperia A photo postcard by Feilden of Liverpool, featuring the Hesperia, built in 1919. Clean to the front with very light corner wear. Some surface undultations mainly vertical ones down the length of the card. A few very light surface indentations. Inked annotation to the reverse, otherwise very light marking. (VG-) £3.99
Hesperia 517323 Hesperia A photo postcard by Scott of Gravesend, featuring the Hesperia. She was built in 1919 and operated for the company from 1921 to 1938. Very light corner and edge wear except for a small knock to the bottom left corner tip. Very light marking to the front. Light marking / ageing to the reverse with a couple of foxing spots.
