1281112 | Dr. Kemmerich | An early photo postcard featuring the cargo ship Dr. Kemmerlich at Montevideo, Uruguay on 2nd June 1912. The card is by the builders of the vessel Stocks & Kolbe, Kiel whose name appears on the reverse of the card (printed upside down!) The vessel was sold by her Uruguayan owners to an Argentinian company in 1917 and renamed San Francisco. Very light corner and edge wear with light album corner impressions. A very light surface bend on the left edge, centre. Very light marking to the front with a little sepia toning. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG) | SOLD! |
