1244845 | Lord of the Isles | A colour tinted postcard featuring a view of Strachur Pier with the paddle steamer Lord of the Isles alongside. She was built in 1891 and passed to the Lochgoil & Inverary Steamboat Co in 1909. In 1912 she was sold to Turbine Steamers. Very light corner and edge wear. Some surface foxing spotting to the front which is extremely light and most of it only visible when viewed across the light. Otherwise light marking to the front. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse with a few very light foxing spots. (VG-) | SOLD! |
