She was sunk by a mine in Milford Haven (about a mile away from the house where I grew up!) in 1940. The Rea tug Danegarth (1915) is in the foreground and the lighthouse in the background looks like the one on South Pier, Avonmouth. In clean condition to the front with very light corner and edge wear. Pencilled ship names and date of 1938 to the reverse. Light marking and foxing dottting to the reverse with light glue residue marks at the corners and centre from previous album mounting. (VG-) |
