A company printed postcard featuring the Sarasvati (not often seen on postcards). She was built at Harland & Wolff, Belfast, in 1949 and served the company until 1953, when she went to the Shipping Corporation of India (SCINDIA). Very light corner and edge wear. A light surface bend on the left edge, top. A little light surface marking to the front with a couple of light surface foxing type marks top centre. A light surface impression line near the bottom left corner. Light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG)
