1251303 | Solway | A sepia toned photo postcard by Paul Bros, Penzance, featuring the Solway. She was built in 1881 for W. Sloan & Co. She was sold to G. Bazeley of Penzance in 1907. In 1911 she was sold to Canadian owners. Card is postally used in Gravesend in 1909. A little corner and edge wear with a knock and crinkling to the top left corner tip. A light surface bend on the top right corner. Surface impression from postal cancellation top left and impression from the writing to the reverse showing to the front of the card. Otherwise light marking to the front. Light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG-) | SOLD! |
