1226525 | Arnold | A sepia toned early photo postcard featuring the Arnold at Bristol with the suspension bridge in the background. She was built in 1881 as the Capri for R.M. Sloman of Hamburg. In 1897 she became the Tyri and then in 1899 the Arnold for Angfartygs A/B Arnold. Her owner changed to Angfartygs A/B Adolf / Adolf Bratt in 1912. She was wrecked in 1925. Very light corner and edge wear. Light album corner marks / impressions. Very light marking and a little surface silvering to the front. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse with pencilled ship name. (VG) | £7.99 |
