1207906 | Yukon Star | A colour photo postcard featuring the Yukon Star (name visible on bow) cruising the Inside Passage between Vancouver and Skagway, Alaska. The card also mentions her fleetmate Glacier Queen. She was built in 1944 as the Canadian frigate St Thomas and converted to a passenger / cargo ship in 1946. She operated as the Yukon Star from 1958 to 1974. Very light corner and edge wear. Extremely light marking to the front and reverse. (VG+) | SOLD! |
