983902 | Altair | A lovely photo postcard by E. Hoole of Preston featuring the Altair. She was built in 1884 as the Bernard for Turnbull Bros, Cardiff. From 1899 to 1917 she served as the Altair. E. Hoole impressed monogram to the bottom left corner. Very light corner wear. A couple of tiny surface indentations, otherwise clean to the front. A light impression line across the bottom right corner tip. Extremely light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG) | £8.99 |
