Very light marking to the front. Quite heavy age toning to the reverse mainly along the top edge. (VG) £8.99
Unknown (Leyland Line) 1203601 Unknown (Leyland Line) Leyland Line (Frederick Leyland) An early undivided back company advertising postcard featuring a un-named company vessel passing New Brighton. Postally used by someone on the new company steamer Hanoverian in September 1902 (the ship entered service in July 1902). The Hanoverian only did three round voyages from Liverpool to Boston before being transferred to the Dominion Line as the Mayflower and then to White Star Line in 1903 as the Cretic. Sadly the card has a light crease on the bottom left corner, some surface crinkling on the top left corner and some light creasing / crinkling at the top of the right edge. Otherwise very light marking to the front. A little very light marking / ageing to the reverse. (G) £6.99

She served as the Ogaden for Ignazio Messina from 1936 until she was sunk in 1942. The postcard was postally used in Genova in 1939. Very light corner and edge wear.
