The Hastings lifeboat Charles Arkcoll can be seen alongside. The Lugano was subsequently salvaged and re-entered service as the British flagged Boliviana. The card is from the Judges Series, Hastings. Postally used in 1906 at Eastbourne. A little corner and edge wear and light album corner impressions. Light marking with some light surface silvering and sepia toning to the photo. Light surface impression from the postal cancellation top left.
