Lothar Bohlen / Melita Bohlen(?) 6313290 Lothar Bohlen / Melita Bohlen(?) A sepia printed postcard featuring Woermann Line vessels berthed in Hamburg Harbour. The vessel in the centre of the card is the Lothar Bohlen (1898-1920). The vessel inside of her is, I think, the Melita Bohlen(1896-1907). The names are faintly visible on the bow of the vessels. Card was posted in 1918 at Hamburg as a Feldpost card. Very light corner and edge wear. A few light surface marks and a few tiny foxing dots in the sky area. Light surface impression from postal cancellation top left. Very light ageing to the reverse. (VG) £6.99
Lucie Woermann 6313175 Lucie Woermann An early colour printed postcard featuring the Lucie Woermann of 1902. Postally used in 1909 with a Deutsche Seepost cancellation. Card is by Neumann of Hamburg. Some corner and edge wear and some surface marking. Surface imprint from postal cancellation and part of the writing to the reverse. The reverse, sadly, has glue remnants over the centre of the card and a little surface loss where originally stuck to something. Some marking and age tanning. (G) £3.99
Melita Bohlen 6313745 Melita Bohlen A lovely early and scarce undivided back, postcard featuring the Woermann Line houseflag and a view which is (I think) the Melita Bohlen of 1883 (rarely seen on postcards). The card has been postally used in Hamburg 1905 as a military Feldpost card with a military cachet to the reverse for the Imperial protection force for South West Africa - 3rd Etappenkompagnie. Inked message to the front. Light corner wear and a tiny knock to the left edge, centre. Light album corner marks. A little light surface wear to the front. Light marking / ageing to the reverse. Unknown (Woermann Line) 726001 Unknown (Woermann Line) A superb early, undivided back, advertising company art card featuring some lovely art depicting a Woermann Line vessel. Very light corner and edge wear and a light surface bend on the top left corner, with a feint associated crinkle on the reverse only. A tiny crinkle on the bottom left corner tip. Minimal marking to the front. A little light ageing to the reverse. (VG) SOLD!

This one showing a Woermann Line vessel off Tenerife. Art is by Robert Schmidt Hamburg. In lovely clean condition, both sides, with sharp corners. (EX) £10.99
Wadai 1003901 Wadai A matt finish photo postcard by the ship builders Reiherstieg Schiffswerfte featuring the Wadai ready for sea trials on 28th August 1920. She was originally built in 1916 as the Marie Woermann, but not completed until 1920 as the Wadai. On completion she sailed to the UK as war reparations. She was sold in 1921 to Rotterdam Lloyd where she served as the Tjerimai. Very light corner wear. A little very light marking to the front, mainly top left. Very light surface impression from printing to the reverse. The reverse is printed upside down, with very light marking / ageing. (VG) SOLD!
Wadai 1002501 Wadai A colourful company art card featuring the Wadai leaving Santa Isabel, Fernando Po. quite a bit of corner rounding and edge wear. a tear to the top edge right (about 1.5cm) which has been partially glued I think.
