An early vignette printed postcard featuring the Upolu. She was built in 1891 for the Union SS Co of New Zealand in 1891 and served for that company until 1903 when she was sold to Levers Pacific Plantation of Sydney. Card was postally used by a passenger at Suva, Fiji in April 1904. Light corner and edge wear except for a crease / crumple to the bottom left corner tip. A couple of light surface impression lines top right corner. Very light album corner indentations and a little light marking to the front. Very light marking to the reverse. (G+)
