A sepia toned photo postcard featuring the Indrapura. Built in 1911 for Indra Line, she passed to Commonwealth & Dominion Line in 1914. Renamed Port Adelaide in 1916 she was sunk in 1917. Postally used at Dover in 1914 by someone on board. Some corner and edge wear and a surface crack in the gloss coating across the bottom left corner tip. Heavy indentations from the writing to the reverse of the card which show to the front. Indentation from postal cancellation. Ageing / marking to the reverse. (G)
