A sepia printed postcard by Pratt of Southampton featuring the HMAT Warilda. She was built in 1912 and converted to a troop transport at the outbreak of WW1 and later converted to a hospital ship. She was sunk in August 1918 whilst on a voyage from Le Havre to Southampton. Inked inscription to the reverse from a wounded soldier who travelled on the ship in October 1917. A little corner and edge wear and a small knock to the top left corner tip. Light surface marking to the front with a few small marks bottom centre. Light marking / ageing to the reverse. (VG-)
