Diogenes 6049132 Diogenes A photo postcard by Munns of Gravesend featuring the Diogenes (1922-1926). In 1926 she was chartered to Shaw Savill and renamed Mataroa. In clean condition to the front with very light corner and edge wear. Note that the circular mark on the bottom edge centre, underneath the name of the vessel is in the printing of the photo itself, and not a mark on the card. Euripides 880701 Euripides A company art card featuring the Euripides. Postally used in July 1915 by a member of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force on board at Plymouth. "Received from H.M. Nineveh 864105 Nineveh A very early, undivided back, printed postcard featuring the Nineveh, a ship not often seen on postcards. She was built in 1894 and served Aberdeen Line until 1907. She then became the Aldenham for the Eastern & Australian Steamship Co. Card was posted in 1904 at Southampton informing someone in London of the postal dates and agent names for several foreign locations. Light corner and edge wear and light album corner indentations. A little light marking to the front with a few small foxing spots. Light marking and a few foxing marks to the reverse. (VG) SOLD!
Sophocles 684707 Sophocles A lovely advertising art card featuring the Sophocles. Very light corner wear and very light album corner indentations. Clean to the front. Reverse has an inked annotation dated 1925 about visiting the ship in Melbourne. A few foxing spots to the reverse and a small area of surface damage on the top edge near the stamp box. (VG) £10.49

Some corner and edge wear and a small nick on the bottom of the right edge. A light surface crinkle on the bottom edge, centre. A couple of light surface bends. Light marking to the front.
