SMS U9 / SMS U29 995506 SMS U9 / SMS U29 A sepia printed patriotic postcard featuring the "Exploits of Kapitanleutnant Weddigen". He was the commander of U9 which sank HMS Hogue, HMS Aboukir and HMS Cressy in September 1914 and also celebrating his success as commander of U29 for a short while in 1915 before she was sunk by HMS Dreadnought. Sadly a drawing pin hole bottom right corner tip and some marks / indentations from drawing pins top edge, centre. Otherwise light corner wear and very light marking to the front.
