She was built in 1904 and sold to the Union Steamship Co of New Zealand to become the Tahiti in 1911. Card advertises the service from Bristol to Jamaica. Prussia 1230102 Prussia Hamburg Amerika Linie (HAPAG) A very early and scarce litho printed company art postcard featuring the Prussia. She was built in 1894 and only served with Hamburg Amerika until 1898 when she became the Dominion for Dominion Line. Extremely light corner wear. the bottom edge is uneven and may have been slightly trimmed or just badly cut during production. A tiny repaired edge tear at the top of the right edge with an extremely light surface bend from the top of the right edge down to the tear. Album corner impressions. A light surface impression line down the right edge. A little extremely light age toning down the right edge and along the bottom edge. Otherwise very light marking to the front and reverse. Sannio 1219106 Sannio Italia Flotte Riunite A sepia printed postcard featuring the Sannio. She was built as the German flagged Artus in 1921. She operated for Hugo Stinnes from 1927 as the General Mitre. In 1935 she passed the Italia Flotte Riunite as the Sannio. She only stayed with the company for two years, before passing to Lloyd Triestino in 1937. She was scuttled in 1941. Very light corner and edge wear with tiny surface crinkles to the top right and bottom left corner tips. Extremely light marking to the front. Sud Americano 1230702 Sud Americano A/S Linea Sud Americana, Oslo (Ivaran Lines) A photo postcard from the ship builders Deutsche Werke, Kiel, featuring the Sud Americano which was built by then in 1929. One her maiden voyage she was found to be too slow and had engine problems, so she was handed back to the ship builders by her owners. She was renamed Yakima Star by her builders in 1931 and then sold to NDL where she became the Weser in 1934. Extremely light corner wear and extremely light marking to the front. Blue staining and water marking to the reverse, which may be from when the card was produced. I have seen other similar cards from the same company with this problem. (VG+/VG-) £6.99
